As many Christians are bracing for Revelation-sized tribulations, it's good to remember that Jesus said He would be with us through the end of the Age. In Galatians 1:3-4 Paul wrote, "Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father..." The Greek word for "present" here means "to be 'stood' in a certain place" or "to be placed in." This means that in whatever moment of this Age in which we might happen to live, Jesus has relieved us of our sins; and, that He delivers us from the particular evils that are present—those real and present dangers. Even those Revelation-sized evils.
